WHO IS THE PROGRAM FOR?
Youâve been a felt maker for some years now, but âŚ
We start wet felting because weâre fascinated by the material and the possibilities of creating all sorts of things, from wearables to sculpture â¨đŤÂ
We see what others are doing, so we dream of what weâd like to create. But, letâs face it, wool can be stubborn, and the initial phases arenât easy.Â
We try to implement whatâs on our mind and quickly realize there are details that escape us. We may recognize that weâre lacking some technical skills, our edges are always wavy, our squares arenât square, and we never quite get the right shrinkage. Yet, we donât really know why⌠đÂ
Weâve all been there. Itâs that annoying phase of trial and error. While some of us persevere until we get to the other side, others give up and think âthis is just not for meâ.Â
What Iâd like to tell you is that it really doesnât have to be that hard (and itâs not you!). There are techniques you can learn which will take you to success a lot more quickly.

Itâs finally here, the new format Iâve been mentioning for some time!
So, what is it exactly? If youâve been following my blog or Instagram account, youâve heard about THE DODO HUB for sure. Chances are you're curious about TDH and youâd like to know more about it.
Since itâs a one-year program, it may be kind of difficult to imagine how it works. So, this is where the new format comes in.
Â
Itâs called FROM FIBER TO FLAWLESS FINISH IN 7 DAYS and itâs an intensive one-week training, that is also part of the first module of THE DODO HUB.
You get an exclusive sneak peek into my one-year signature program, while, at the same time:
So, you may be asking yourself if this is just an intro to THE DODO HUB or if youâll be making any pieces during this training. And the answer to your question is YE...
I frequently get emails from felt makers asking me if they can purchase only the patterns for my baby booties. When I taught how to make slippers, I was often asked if Iâd sell only the patterns for the slippers.
I opted for never offering the resist patterns, the reason being that Iâm for teaching people to make their own stuff and not keeping them coming back for everything they need.
So, Iâve always wanted to show felt makers how they could make their own resist patterns. For everything they want to felt!
Â
Why should you learn to make your own patterns?
You probably have the experience of looking in vain for a specific pattern and having to make do with what you find.
You may also have noticed that, even if you managed to get a template from someone online, the size may not be the one you need. So, if you don't know what to do about it, the template will be useless.
If you've always wanted to make your own slippers, shoes or boots, but were never sure how you could make them...
About two years ago, I taught a class called RESISTS MADE EASY â A PROVEN SYSTEM TO DESIGN RESISTS FOR WET FELTING.
It covered how to make resists for shoes, clothes, hats, bags, gloves and vessels in all sorts of shapes.
It was well received and fun to teach. But, next, I started focusing more on 3D felting and so, I haven't come back to this class since.
Lately, Iâve had people asking about it, so Iâm considering teaching it again.
This time, my idea would be to make separate classes for each of the topics (shoes, clothes, hats and vessels), but to go into a bit more detail. For example, Iâm thinking about covering things like the ideal fiber for each type of piece.
Before I redesign the classes, Iâd like to see how much interest there is. So, if this sounds like something youâd be interested in, could you email me or send me a message on social media, answering these two questions?
This is a question I know youâre asking yourself: Is the Baby Special Edition worth it?
Thatâs, of course, something only you can decide. But skimming through the class description will only give you a general idea. So, Iâve made a video to show you exactly whatâs inside the âbaby packageâ.
Itâs divided into 4 parts: Â
Part 1 includes the step-by-step video instructions, that walk you through all you need to know to felt your baby's jacket in 3 design variations and 3 sizes to keep up with your babyâs growth. Youâll get:
In Part 2 you get the step-by-step video instructions showing you how to make a baby hat in 6 sizes that you can change in color and shape to create different designs. Youâll get:
Today Iâm bringing you something special, the Baby Special Edition.
Usually, you can only get these classes separately.
Now, for a limited time, Iâm combining the Sweet Baby Jacket & Daisy Baby Hat with the Comfy Baby Booties & Tiny Baby Mittens in one package. In other words, you get 2 for the price of 1.
If youâre interested in felting baby items as gifts for family members, friends or to sell, this Baby Special Edition is for you.
So you had a look at the program, and now youâre thinking âYes, one technique a month. But what do we really felt inside THE DODO HUB?â
I get that it may not be totally clear to you, so let me help you with that.
First, above there's a short video of some of the beautiful pieces made by the participants in the first months of THE DODO HUB to show you what youâll be working on.
I want you to feel supported and that youâre in the right place, no matter where you are on your felting journey. So, THE DODO HUB adapts to the students and not the other way around.
Let me show you how, based on the example of module #1, Geometric Patterns. Itâs planned like this:
You can approach this module (or any other module) any way you want:
If youâve been waiting to enroll in THE DODO HUB, Iâve got good news! The registration is open as of now.
