I finally started filming a beginners course (and I’d love your help)
Jan 19, 2026You know, for years now, I’ve been getting the same question again and again: “Do you have a class for complete beginners?”
I’ve always wanted to be able to answer YES to this question. But, for a long time, the answer was NO.
Not because I didn’t want to offer a class to help beginner felt makers, but because I wanted to make sure that when I said yes, I could do it properly: with clarity, care, and without skipping the foundations that really make a difference.
Well, I finally started. I’m currently writing and filming a brand-new course for complete beginners.
It’s early days, and I’m deep in lesson plans, wool, notes, and half-finished sentences. But it feels really good to finally be building this. Long overdue, maybe. Definitely exciting!
And this is where I’d love your help.
If you’re a beginner yourself, I’d love to know:
What questions would you want this course to answer? What feels unclear, intimidating, or simply hard to find good explanations for?
If you’d like to help, you can send me an email to [email protected] with your questions. I’ll be using them to shape the course and to make sure I’m covering what actually matters to you.
As a thank you, I’ll randomly draw one name from everyone who sends in a question. That person will get the class for free once it’s released.
I’ll share more soon. But, for now, I wanted to let you know what I’m working on and invite you behind the scenes.
If a beginner’s course has been on your wish list for a while, this one is for you.
Talk soon!
Vanda
PS: Even one short question is enough to be included in the draw. No need to overthink it. If you’ve ever thought “I wish someone had explained this when I was starting,” I'd love to hear it.
