Every artist’s story is made of chapters. This is the end of one of mine.

You’re an artist too. So, I’m sure you can relate. 

We grow, learn new techniques and slowly discover new possibilities as our craft develops. As we lean into the next chapter, some of our earlier work naturally becomes part of an earlier stage of our journey. 

For me, that also means creating new classes that better reflect where I am today as an artist. Saying goodbye to work that was created with so much love isn’t easy, but it’s part of the path. 

I’ve just reached one of those moments, and I’m feeling the need to retire some of my older classes that were created almost a decade ago. 

I’m starting with my Baby Collection, a couple of classes that introduced many felt makers to my way of working and brought countless beautiful baby garments into the world. 

Because these classes have been so precious to me, rather than simply announcing their retirement, I wanted to tell the story behind them. 

Instead of telling that story in writing, I’ve decided to share it in a short series of videos because I felt this was something I wanted to tell you personally. 

In this first part, I look back at the beginning of the Baby Collection, how my fascination with wearable felt led me to create these classes, and how, over the years, my own artistic journey has gradually evolved.
